The timber used in the production of the scaffold boards is made of species specified by BSI in the guidelines BS2482:2009.

Each board is visually graded by qualified timber grader appoved by Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) and tested to verify the strength of each plank exceeds the bending moment requirements for the working loads set out in the guidelines of BS2482:2009 by Malaysia approved testing body.
The Timber boards are fitted with galvanized steel end bands at each ends to prevent splitting and durability.
BS 2482 specifies requirements for timber scaffold boards with a width of 225 mm and a thickness of either 38 mm or 63 mm.
BS2482:2009 defines both visual and machine strength grading standards for 38mm x 225mm boards supported at 1.2m spans and 63mm x 225mm boards supported at 2.5m spans; and machine strength grading standards only for 38mm x 225mm boards supported at 1.5m spans.
